You know that voice in your head? The one that treats you worse than you'd treat most anyone? Irrational as it can be, it's darn hard to turn it off. For four Sundays in June, join us for an exploration of the "inner critic." You will:
- Learn simple, powerful techniques to increase awareness of your own self-talk: when it's present, why it's present, and what it's telling you.
- Take control of your inner narrative, transforming negative messages into positive ones.
- Build resilience to hold the underlying emotional experience that often drives these messages.
Each class will include new techniques, a period of guided meditation, and time for group discussion. The series is suitable for all levels of experience. I will be available to each student one-on-one, so no one feels overwhelmed or left behind.
